I use the customised HOSTS file in Windows to make it so known ad site IPs are set to 127.0.0.1 so they do not load. I run an Apache web server and so always get the "File not found" error message, so I decided to add the ability to check if the requested URL was an add and if so, display it. It just makes pages look that bit more friendly :) A HOSTS file is included.
