winsinc is a small yet useful script for everyone. It is actually a digital symetric non-recursive filter which can be Lowpass, Highpass, or Bandpass by using a windowed sinc function. Non-Recursive filters are based on convolving the input series with a weight function. Their advantage compared to recursive filters is that they are always stable and mathematically simpler. Their disadvantage is that they may require a large number of weights to achieve a desired response.

This is even true for the pagination links, which are just regular links (A elements) with special CSS classnames (ie: "toc") you define and style as desired. It's time to show your visitors what you got on your site! Note that this script uses the jQuery library.

Virtually identical to the technique used to create a plain CSS shadow, the desired content is wrapped in a DIV with its background image set to an over-sized shadow image. The content itself is relatively positioned and shifted slightly upwards and to the left to expose the shadow.
A "master" DIV that surrounds the entire markup is also relatively positioned, but shifted to the right and downwards to return the entire markup to its original position on the page.
IE 6 has difficultly handling nested relatively positioned elements (yada), so instead of letting IE6 ruin the fun for everyone else, well just use conditional HTML to hide the effect in that browser. IE7 is spared for finally learning proper CSS.
