Flat files have an inherent problem with script collisions for the main data files. The main script for this version never writes to the main data file. Instead, it writes unique data to unique "visitor" files, which are consolidated into the main data file by a separate script executed by a cron job (or a certain kind of website monitoring service). If you have few visitors, the other script is okay. If you have many visitors per day, you need this one!<<less
