Optionally, an administrator can approve new subscriptions depending on the information or focus group. While sending a newsletter, integrated bounce management verifies which recipients have been reached. The system distinguishes between soft and hard bounces (that is, recipients who are temporarily unavailable versus permanently dead addresses).
In addition to the manual subscription of users via a website, recipient addresses can be imported from third-party systems. This functionality is especially useful when accessing purchased address databases, addresses of business partners or data from CRM systems. To further support permission-based marketing, newsletter recipients can change their personal settings and can remove themselves from the newsletter distribution list.
