This allows original content creators to provide a feed for the Juice Podcast Receiver, jPodder more>> DirCaster is a PHP script that allows one to very easily start Podcasting MP3 files from their web host. This allows original content creators to provide a feed for the Juice Podcast Receiver, jPodder, and other "podcatching" software. Simply drop the dircaster.php script (and accompanying files) into a directory on the web server and it will generate a valid RSS feed suitable for Juice Podcast Receiver, etc., based off the MP3 files (with appropriate ID3 tag information) in that directory. To broadcast a new MP3 file, simply upload it to the same directory that contains the DirCaster script and files. Feed information is based on ID3 tags within the MP3 files that you post to the directory containing the DirCaster script. The latest version: DirCaster V0.9b - Revised item GUID tag to be more unique, fixed permalink, added channel keyword tag, aligned XML tag indent. Looks better when reviewing raw XML. It allows you to put up resized versions of jpegs without going through the fuss of working on them with a graphics editor. There are three functions: image_resize allows you to specify a new width and height for an image. image_horizontal_resize and image_vertical_resize are wrappers for the first and allow you to specify only the width or the height. The last parameter in these functions is a boolean, and determines if the original image is made available for download or not.<<less

This tool allows to detect code defects, such as:

Tested on FF and IE for windows and now on FF and Safari for mac. In the same file sc_classes.php there is an other class. Called sc_form_elements. Used partialy from sc_ajax_select_boxes. It is a nice form helper class. Adds select boxes, radio groups and check box groups. It is usual to have options on db and have to populate with them select boxes, or show a list of radio buttons or a list of checkboxes. The routine is to query the database and loop throu the selected rows and add elements to the form. sc_form_elements class comes to save time rewriting that peace of code again and again, but still have control over the form.<<less
